Assertive Community Treatment Supervisor

HRCSB is seeking a qualified individual to lead our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team as the Supervisor. This position’s primary responsibility is to create and oversee our ACT team and program, in coordination with the Director of Community Mental Health Services. Our ACT team, in a partnership with our Permanent Supportive Housing program, will provide community based wrap around services to individuals with serious mental illness who are in need of stable housing.
The ideal candidate will possess considerable knowledge of adult and geriatric psychology in mental health and substance use disorders; knowledge of treatment planning for individuals having these problems; skills in assessing psychopathology; and experience crisis intervention. Knowledge and experience with ACT model of treatment is a plus. Supervision experience preferred.
Education preferred is graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in human services, plus 3 years of experience in a mental health, developmental disorders or substance abuse setting or a related human services field; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Professional licensure or Licensed Eligible required.

ACT Nurse

HRCSB is seeking a community psychiatric nurse to work as a team member in our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program. The nurse will work in community setting with clients who have a serious mental health and/or co-occurring disorder diagnosis. The incumbent will work on the ACT team in collaboration with the psychiatric care provider, licensed supervisor, licensed clinician, peer and mental health providers. Major duties include direct client care, medication procurement and administration of injectable medication, venipuncture, and documentation according to agency standards, as well as, patient education, monitoring and support. This position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and licensure as a practical nurse or registered nurse in the State of Virginia. Experience in a psychiatric setting is preferable.

Data and Business Analyst

Seeking individual with experience to be the primary point of contact for data gathering, analysis and reporting in the agency. Ensures the quality and continuity of business-critical data, submitting required reports to regulating authorities. The incumbent will be familiar with data analysis methods. Experience with healthcare regulations and processes, including Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is preferred. The incumbent will perform data management, data analysis and data reporting functions.

Individual must have good interpersonal and communication skills in addition to technical skills cited above. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in public administration, computer science or a related area; Possess strong knowledge of databases and business intelligence tools. Two years’ experience working with healthcare, or, any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Supervisor of Community Crisis Services

Be part of the leadership team for a community mental health agency who is dedicated to serving the needs of a diverse population! The Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board is seeking an experienced clinician to serve as the Supervisor of Community Crisis Services. This position provides program leadership and oversight to the daily operations, including but not limited to clinical supervision to program staff, crisis service delivery, program development, and assuring the program is meeting all regulatory requirements. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate both in written and oral format. Qualified applicants must hold a professional license (LPC or LCSW) within the State of Virginia or be licensed eligible and be willing to complete the certification for preadmission screening. Preferred candidates will have a history of supervisory experience and/or program development within behavioral health and/or related field.

Infant Toddler Developmental Interventionist

Full-time, salaried position to provide services to infant/toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities in the ITC (Infant and Toddler Connection) program. Opportunity to work with a team of professionals in the child’s natural environment. Requires diagnostic and evaluative skills, knowledge of child development and intellectual disability; ability to work effectively with families from diverse backgrounds; and ability to provide services within complex regulations associated with Part C services. Bachelor’s degree and licensure in child development, early childhood special education, early childhood education, or related field required.

ACT Clinician

HRCSB is seeking a qualified individual to provide therapy and crisis support services to clients enrolled in our ACT program. This full-time position will provide individual and group therapy to ACT clients struggling with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring issues. Our ACT team, in a partnership with our Permanent Supportive Housing program, will provide community based wrap around services to individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders who are in need of stable housing.
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of adult and geriatric psychology in mental health and substance use disorders; knowledge of treatment planning for individuals having these problems; skills in assessing psychopathology; and experience with crisis intervention.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in human services or related field plus two years of clinical experience providing treatment to persons with severe and persistent illnesses and co-occurring disorders is preferred. Professional Licensure or Licensed Eligible in good standing with the state of Virginia is required (LPC, LPC-resident or LCSW, LCSW-supervisee). Supervision towards licensure is available.

Emergency Services On-Call Clinician

The Harrisonburg Rockingham Community Services Board is seeking an Emergency Services On-Call Clinician! This is a part-time, hourly position providing crisis intervention, information, referral, and prescreening for hospitalization by telephone or face-to-face. Work schedule includes evening hours, weekends, and holidays (or at any time when the CSB services are closed).

Regional Mobile Crisis Clinician

The Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board is seeking an hourly Crisis Response Clinician. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively respond and provide mobile, community based, crisis intervention services to individuals, childhood through adult, during the time of crisis as dispatched from the Regional Crisis Call Center for the Harrisonburg City and Rockingham County area. This position requires a candidate who is able to exercise considerable independence and autonomy in day to day decisions making related to the delivery of services to a diverse population across all disabilities.

Emergency Services Clinician

Full time or hourly position providing crisis intervention and evaluation to persons experiencing mental health or substance abuse emergencies. Position requires strong clinical and problem solving skills, and the ability to work as a member of a team is essential. Good diagnostic, evaluative, emergency intervention and interpersonal skills required. Must be able to work effectively with service providers from other agencies, as well as, with people who are experiencing a high level of stress. Master’s degree in human services and professional license (LPC or LCSW) or license eligible required. Licensure supervision and on the job specialized training will be available.
Work schedule daytime hours Monday through Friday.

Child and Adolescent Outpatient Clinician

The Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Service Board is looking to add a new outpatient clinician to our growing child and adolescent therapy team. This full-time position will provide outpatient therapy to a diverse group of children, adolescents, and families within a supportive, professional, and team-oriented work environment. Ideal candidates will be personable, motivated, and passionate about helping others within this community. The right person for this job will also have familiarity with trauma informed and person centered care, be able to assess and diagnose clients using the DSM-5, and have the skills to produce timely documentation with good clinical language. (LPC or LCSW) or license-eligible (LMHP-E) status is required for this position.
